Halloween Fun

Since the kids will be with their dad for Halloween this year, we decided to take advantage of Boo at the Zoo a couple days early and go Trick-or-Treat there. The kids had a good time. We just threw together costumes at the last minute and used what we had at home. Alex decided he was going as an army man, from the picture, it's obvious he made the wrong choice...he should have been a monkey!!! That boy is SOOO flexible. the picture doesn't do it justice, but he was hanging upside down from a ring, with one hand and both his legs behind his head!!! I was pretty impressed. Sydney was a monster of some sort, not sure what kind, but everyone thought she was cute, so she thought she needed to be shy and hide behind my me. She is so NOT shy, that girl is one outspoken and opinionated thing, sometimes the quietness is nice. They didn't get that much candy, but they had a ton of fun and Syd was thrilled to come away with a new toothbrush.
