Syd Update

We went down to Primary Children's again yesterday so Syd could have a scope done and another test to make sure she didn't have any blockage in her kidneys. The Dr. said everythin looked great, except for 1 small pollup in her bladder that they removed. He doesn't think that is what has been causing her problems, but it shouldn't be there so he removed it. He thinks what is occurring now is that her body is so used to having infections and holdin it when she goes that the muscles down there are out of wack with her bladder and both the bladder and the other muscles down there are spasming. The Dr. prescribed a couple meds to help stop the spasming and created a regimen for her to help train and resynch her bladder and muscles. Hopefully, keep your fingers crossed this will solve the problem. She is so brave and such a little trooper. The only thing she asks for when we have to make the trip is "can we find some time to have a little fun too while we're in Utah?" Fun for her, is just getting a vanilla ice cream cone. I am pretty impressed with her, that all she's been through and has to go through each trip down there all she ever asks for is a vanilla ice cream.
